We will admit we failed a bit with this one. The Bagels could be fluffier, but we will be trying again soon, with adjustments to follow.
We suggest after rolling them with a hole in the middle, put them on flour, so you don’t have to roll them again and loose the second rising.
We love this for how easy it is.
- 1 sachet Yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil – sunflower
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 500ml warm water
After rolling it, boil the buns. There are some who say add sugar or salt to the water, but we didn’t and everything was fine. After boiling them, put them in the oven.
We set down sesame seeds and coarse salt.
Use less salt than we did, and combine it with the sesame the two are really amazing.
